When did you ditch the pump?
So I am a FTM and am able to stay at home with my LO and primarily breastfeed. I supplement with formula sometimes when I feel like I need a break (baby girl is actually refusing bottles right now, but that's another story lol), but mostly just nurse on demand throughout the day. My baby girl is 3 months now and seems pretty satisfied with her feedings and I am wondering if I should still be pumping?
My breasts are never engorged anymore and I feel like I can't create a stash as we are planning a long distance move that will take 4 to 5 days and feel like anything I save would go bad...but am I doing a disservice to my supply?
My mom says now my supply is established I dont necessarily need to pump anymore?
I would love feedback and response to when/if you ditched the pump. I plan on breastfeeding at least until she is 18 to 24 months and then will pump to give her it in bottles after, but just wondering what to do in the mean time.
THANK YOU!!! 🖤
