Question for car seat safety aware moms

So I’ve never put my daughter in her car seat with her winter coat on. Not even once because I really take car seat safety seriously and listen to car seat rules. But she’s always had puffy coats and I’m wondering if a thinner winter coat like the one in the picture would be ok? It looks like I’d be able to fully tighten the straps with it on but I guess the only way to find out is to order it and try it. Just wondering what other moms opinions are
