Is it ok to give a 8mo old baby a small amount of benadryl. how much if so or what can I give him for a runny nose cough and congestion tia

Thank you everyone that is what I thought  I had a few people telling me it was just fine so I figured I'd asked. I appreciate everyone's input baby is rubbed down with vicks and I found an all natural cough and mucus med fir babies he is a little better today
