Crib? Nursery?

Question

To all my mommies, I have a question. 
Do you think a nursery room is necessary? 
When did you move them out of of your room to their own bed? 
Should I just put a crib in our room and not make a nursery? 
Any advice is appreciated.

Our daughter started sleeping in her crib at six weeks. We intended to keep her in our room but it didn’t work for any of us. 
Another thought - nurseries aren’t just for sleeping. Babies come with a lot of stuff and our nursery has been a great place to organize and store it all.

I don’t do a nursery really, but I do a bedroom. I’d rather invest in a bedroom set they can grow into and then a crib to match for inexpensive. 
All three of my kids have had a twin size bed, dresser, nightstand and crib when they’re born. The crib is the least expensive part. 
I keep them in my bedroom in a bassinet until at least 6 months then slowly transition to a crib in their own room. I sleep sometimes in the bed in their room if I need to. Then I usually sell the crib once they’re old enough for a big kid bed. 
I like my kids to keep a schedule because I find them more agreeable, so their own room with quiet is a necessity. I like routine and I need everyone to have their own space to do that.

I’m not planning to make a nursery 🤷🏼‍♀️I’m planning to keep the crib in our room for a year anyway.

You gotta go with what works best for your lifestyle, budget, convenience and space. 
If you don't have the space, money, time, energy, etc. to invest in a nursery--dont bother. At the end of the day, the baby and your family will adapt. 
Remeber: humans have managed to do this baby thing for thousands of years!

My son spent his first 15 days in the NICU so he got used to being in a separate room. So ever since he got home we have had him in the nursery and it has been a real stress reliever. We tried having him sleep in his bassinet next to our bed but he ended up hating it and crying all the time so we had to move him back to his room which he loves. I also noticed that he sleeps better then other babies due to this.

We have a nursery and our daughter sleeps in our room in a pack and play still at 23 months 😝 So even though she really doesn’t sleep in the nursery it’s all set up and is completely full with her clothes and toys which is nice to have. 
Baby 2 is coming so we are slowly transitioning her into sleeping in her room now

My son used his bassinet in our room for 12 weeks... he’d outgrown it. He was a very tall baby. I have a feeling my daughter will do the same so.
He was in his room permanently at 13 weeks.

Even though he doesn't sleep in here it's still his room with all his stuff. We have a nice chair in here that I use to nurse him in the middle of the night. He will also be able to use the crib once we transition out of our room and until it no longer functions. It'll convert to toddler bed with the current mattress and once he's ready we can use it for twin or full size bed.

We have a nursery with a convertible crib.
It converts into a toddler bed and can convert into a full size bed with the conversion kit.
She sleeps in her crib for naps and sleeps in the pack and play in our room at night!

We moved our first into her room when she was around 4/5 months. We were waking her up when we came in and also started sleep training during this time as well- so her own room made that a great deal easier.
