Can someone please explain this to me?

What does cervical mucus tell you about your cycle? I’ve tried googling and I just don’t really understand. Does clear, slippery cm mean ovulation is near?

There are general rules, but you need to follow your own cycle for a few months to learn about your cervical mucus. For example, I know now that I get ewcm approx a week before ovulation and then it turns creamy for the actual time I ovulate and then it goes sticky until I have my period then goes watery until a week before ovulation. The only cm that tells you anything is ewcm which means ovulation is close.
