What to expect with Letrozole?

Starting my first round of Letrozole tonight. (CD 5-9) 2.5mg what should I expect and when should I start BD and opk testing? I do ovulate on my own fairly regularly. But my gyn is putting me on this to shorten the time between my period and ovulation which has previously been anywhere from CD 22-32..

I’m on cycle day 16 and took letrozole for the first time this month. I’ve had 4 failed clomid cycles and feel letrozole was definitely better for me. My mood was better and had a longer cycle before I got a positive OPK. I usually ovulate by myself too and been as early as ovulate on day 7. This time a got a high OPK days 11-14 and peak day 15. Ive been doing the deed ever other day as every day was putting too much pressure on my husband. I’ve also tried reflexology for the first time and fertility tea so fingers crossed. My mood on clomid was absolutely hurrendous and it dried me out. Letrozole has been great, apart from a couple of headaches I’ve felt myself again. Baby dust xx

I took letrozole for the first time too this cycle,  5mg from cd2-6. Today its cd8. I had no symptoms as such mild headaches around 3rd day. That's it. Have a scan at cd10.
