So I had my first appt with my new OB today and I’m just super frustrated and need to vent. My care was transferred as we need a tubal done right after delivery, our original ob & hospital doesn’t allow tubals. So I’m 34w and go in, OB right away says how many nsts have you had? I tell him none, ultrasounds? None since 19w. How are your numbers, are you on medication? My numbers are fine, I’ve tried some pastas and they were in the 130-s after and hour. So you’ve had some highs you need to stick to the diet. I have been I was told a half cup of pasta and under 140 at an hour. No. Stick to the diet, under 130.

Ok fine. But he keeps going over this. I’m sorry the other hospitals GDM regulations were different. Less than 95 & less than 140, I will adjust to meet his standards. But he was non stop questioning why I haven’t had nsts or ultrasounds. I wasn’t ever told about them! Kept saying GDM care has been lacking. Idk what to expect I’ve been diet controlled and just figured because of that fact I would be treated as a normal pregnancy.

Ugh so frustrated at this point. Is it December yet? 😡
