How come my child won’t respond to his name?

I’m really worried about my baby, no matter the kind of tone I try to call my baby out, he won’t turn around to me ... I’m really worried ... what should I do?

What’s your little ones age? My 9 month old can respond to his name buuuut he can also decide to ignore you as well 😂😂 especially if he is doing something he isn’t supposed to he will stop and freeze but will not turn around and address you 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 or if he doesn’t want any thing to do with you he will straight ignore you lol. 
So kids can develop selective response at a young age

please. seek out the opinion of your pediatrician.  at a certain age they should respond or atleast turn to their name. they should always respond to your voice. hes.kids do ignore but if its always.  check his hearing and get an evaluation. my daughter was doing this
