HPV after pregnancy (but not during?)

StarHaze

While I was pregnant I found out my partner was living with another woman and cheating with her. (Long story short, I lived with my parents and after his roommate ditched he supposedly went back to his parents but it was actually his ex, we were working towards getting a place together)

I ended up talking with both the current girl he was cheating with and his other ex, both said I needed to be tested for herpes. I had 3 tests while pregnant screening for everything, didn't have anything, didn't even have symptoms. I didn't touch myself down there or look down there for a few months after birth, except to itch. I never had BV or a yeast infection, was checked twice. Then when my baby was 6-7 months I noticed a lump in the spot where it kept itching... Then I noticed bumps at my vaginal entrance. Went to planned Parenthood, it's genital warts, I have HPV. I don't know why my midwife didn't catch it while I was pregnant.

I'm worried about risk of passing it onto my baby and older child. Web results have been mixed. Some says it's passable by kissing and others say it isn't. I do kiss my kids on the cheek and forehead frequently. The baby gives me little open mouth kisses as well, though it's really more like drooling on me lol.

Wondering if anyone has further insight into HPV. How it wasn't noticed during pregnancy. And how easy is it to transmit by kissing kids? Thanks for taking the time to read this!

For further clarification I do not have herpes, I have HPV. I know they are different and I don't need that part clarified to me.

What I need clarified is if I can pass ORAL HPV to my babies by kissing? I know it can be passed French kissing. I only found one site stating it can't be but that same site said it could be.
