Will my scar always be purple?

Or does it fade to my skin tone? I’m 10 weeks pp so I know the scar will still fade a lot more than it is now but I’m just wondering what it’ll look like in a few years. If you had a c section more than a year ago what color is your scar?

My son is 9 next month and my scar is hardly there anymore. It’s white ish maybe more skin colour. I’m 24 weeks pregnant too so early next year I’ll have another csection

Mine is the same color as my skin. It's hardly noticeable. I had my c-section 17 months ago.

My first scar faded to a normal color. By two years you could hardly even see it. I just had my second c section so I'm hoping the same will happen 😅

No it will fade over time. Take collagen orally and put bio oil on it.

I have one child who is now almost 14 months old and this is currently what mine looks like. It still gets itchy and it’s raised. It looked better a couple weeks of surgery than now.
