Why are men so thirsty?

So today I had to pick up some paperwork for child care connections, I had to get it from the courthouse. I walk to my correct floor as soon as I turned the corner these two men where sitting on the bench staring at me. I looked and continued texting my phone.

Him:staring and smiling ooh how you doing

Me: hi still looking down at my phone

Him: so you couldn’t take your face out that phone to look at me and say hi

Me: this is my phone I can be in my phone all I want to you don’t pay this bill I do

Him: I don’t even know

Me: exactly so leave me alone

Him: getting mad and frustrated sheesh all I said was hi you don’t have to get a attitude

Me: I said hi back so why are you still bothering me leave me alone

Him: so I can’t say hi to you

Me: you didn’t have to say shit to me all you had was do was sit there and keep your mouth shut and mind your business

Him: looking surprised i don’t know you don’t take your issues out on me

So the sheriff officers say you have to leave because your starting problems with your bby mom and arguing with a random person so they made him leave

I’m still tryna process this why do men act like you have to speak to them. I don’t even know you. As a woman if you don’t speak to a random man they are mad because you didn’t speak to them. But if you do and you don’t make eye contact with them it’s a issue I can’t win. Like I don’t understand. Was I wrong for saying hi to him and not looking at him. I don’t feel like I owe him any type of eye contact, if could have been a woman and I still would have did the same thing.
