It could be. Generally they're lighter in the middle with a raised red border, but any anti-fungal cream should clear it up if that's what it is.

Definitely could be. My doctor told me any topical antifungal would be safe to use in case I got it (I work in an animal shelter). Our vet says miconahex (the generic form of vagisil) is the most effective, but you can also try treatments for athlete’s foot. Check with your doctor, and they can see if you need an oral treatment as well. My OB personally said she wouldn’t prescribe an oral unless I got ringworm on my scalp.
