My son was born prematurely at 25 weeks gestational, he had 2 surgeries one when he was 13 days old due to pda the other for something he had in his intestine now he have ROP stage 3 zone 2 and they just found down he have white brain damage he recently turn 3 months and 2 weeks in the nicu, now the hospital team is talking about send him home on oxygen next week or the week after I’m excited for him to go home at the time I kind of stuck in

this journey because I’m returning to work on the 15 of November, the doctors and nurses tells me that my son is very fragile to be very careful with him if not he will go back to hospital after for a long time again, I’m confuse I don’t know what to do I want to stay home to take care of him but because of financial issues I really can’t stay without a job to help my husband. I would love some advice from moms who are in the same

situation as I am right now I would love to if I quit I would be consider to collect unemployment.
