October baby became a November baby

Kay

I was due October 27th, that day came and went went to my next drs appointment on the 29th they scheduled an induction date for November 3rd. Well the 30th I started getting contractions and not to mention later that night my boyfriend's grandpa died later that night and ambulance and fire trucks and hospice was here. He had stage 4 liver, esophagus and lymph node cancer. The next day still having contractions, weren't painful enough to go in and my water hadn't broke yet so I stayed home. The next day was the viewing, went to that it went as good as you can expect. On our way home we got into a car accident, a truck stopped in the middle of the road and our breaks just stopped working. The car was totaled but everyone was fine. The truck s ball hitch broke but that was it. After we were done there we went to the hospital , better safe than sorry. We get there they were confused on why I was walking and wasn't sure if I needed to be in the emergency room or l&d. They figured it out I went up to l&d. We get there I'm immediately hooked up to the straps on my stomach. My blood pressure was high so they took it every 15 minutes until it was normal, they did an iv and decided I was going to be kept for 12 hours. The funeral was the next day at 10 am. I hoped I would have been able to make it. It was close cutting it because we got there at 9 PM but it was only a few blocks away from there. By morning they already have a delivery room ready and they decided that they are just going to keep me and start the induction early. so they switch my rooms and they start explaining things. They were starting with a cervix softening drug, cervidil its inserted into the vagina and left for 12 hours. About 12:30 I was allowed to eat I hadn't eaten anything since 1:30 the day before and then They inserted it at 2:30 pm on the second. I couldn't move for 2 hours but by then I wasn't allowed to get up and move around for almost 24 hours. So by 1:30 my water breaks I called the nurse, she helps me to the bathroom and I couldn't pee just dribble some yellowish pinkish liquid, I tell the nurse that I think that my water broke and she does a test and says its negative, and leaves while I'm sitting in a wet gown wet bed for another half hour, she comes back in and sees that I'm in some pretty bad pain, decided to do the actual test to see if your leaking fluid, comes back that I was, so she goes calls the dr and asks what she should do, they decided to take the cervidil out and check to see how dialated I was, before she took it out I told her that I had changed my mind on weather I wanted an epidural, she said you can't get it until you are 3cm dialated and I said okay, she pulls the cervidil out and check me I'm 3cm dialated and 90% effaced, drastic change from when I went in I wasn't even 1cm dialated. She gave me some iv pain meds and called the person who does that said hed be there in about an hour. Within that hour my boyfriend called his aunt and stepmother, who showed up pretty quickly. Well after they got there maybe 30 minutes after the guy showed up to do the epidural, it wasn't bad it just burned a little bit and my leg twitched like electricity went through it. That's when it slowed down it was probably about 3 am by then and I slept through till about 6:50 when the nurse came in and said it was time for a cervix check, I was 10 and ready to push but we had to wait until the dr came we waited until about 7:25 or so and the had me start attempting to push it's a lot harder to when you have an epidural, and it's your first time and being in and out of it. So I went through how to push and by 7:40 am I had a baby boy laying on me screaming. Happiest moment of my life, hes adorable and he is named after his great grandpa norman. Norman zayne hyde, though he has two middle names.

Now this is him 4 days old
