My fiancé is currently away for a job. I’m moving with him shortly.

Because he was gone right when we got engaged I had to look at venues myself. We picked two summers from now so we’ll be home for good.

Venue I loved(he liked from photos) had no Saturday dates available. I was bummed. Then I got an email Wednesday saying they had a Saturday date come available. Asked if I wanted to put a 5 day hold on it.

After 5 days we either have to put the deposit down or release the date.

My fiancé will be able to look at the venue over thanksgiving so I wanted to email the venue to see if they’re willing to hold the date until then. It’d only be like 2 weeks until we could look at it.

Any advice for what to say? It’s a popular venue so it’ll probably book up quick.
