Postpartum infection ?

I’m 3 weeks and 5 days postpartum . I stopped all heavy red bleeding and have been seeing lighter yellow “discharge “ now in the place if it. My lady part doesn’t smell too pleasant and I’m wondering if this is normal?

I had a funky/unpleasant smell develop after the bleeding stopped around 3/4 weeks pp. It didn’t go away by week 5 so I went to the doc. It turned out I had something called Desquamative Inflammatory Vaginitis. My doctor prescribed me a few different creams that I have to insert vaginally for the next six weeks. Total bummer but I was glad I got it checked out. I had no other symptoms other than the smell but I just knew that something wasn’t right. I’m not saying that you have DIV but it might be worth it to get checked out!

Yes that’s normal. I remember after my first my lochia was that color and had an odd smell- almost earthy/ musky - hard to explain. But normal. I take epsom salt and baking soda baths to help with my ph. Sometimes I’ll put some lavender essential oil in as well. I’m 8 weeks pp with my 2nd and it wasn’t really noticeable this time.

It’s normal. But it smells so disgusting 🤢 I’m 4 weeks pp and its finally almost all the way stopped but my lady parts still have that lingering smell. I hate it
