Benefits of Waiting till 💍?

Question

My bf and I are 23yo virgins & waiting til marriage to have sex. He's waiting for religious reasons & I'm waiting just because I want to. We have a really good relationship as friends and bf & gf. I feel like when we get to that point, all of the love & other thangs we been holding in will come out (prob not the first night). We do get tempted at times tho😉
However recently, I was talking to a few people and they were judging me & my bf for waiting but some of them are in toxic ass relationship. They were giving me a lot of cons of waiting. What are some pros of waiting for you guys so I can clap👏🏾back👏🏾 at them with some facts?

I can kinda share multiple perspectives. 
I wasn’t raised with religion, so I had sex with my hs bf. It just kinda happened one time as we were fooling around. Plus we were teens mostly driven by our hormones. I ended up staying in that bad relationship into adulthood (WAY longer than I should have) just because it was comfortable and the endorphins of sex kept us feeling close even though we had grown apart and things were very toxic. 
Fast forward. I became a Christian and eventually met my now husband. Right from the start we talked about wanting to wait until marriage and set some reasonable boundaries. Throughout our dating relationship we were able to focus on our compatibility, having fun together, learning about each other. We were building a better relationship because our heads were clear to make decisions about our futures and if we wanted each other to be a part of them. 
We also had a really special first time since we literally set the date for it and could plan it ahead of time. We had plenty of time to get tested. We were able to talk about what wanted to happen (did we want candles, music, etc.). It was truly magical and wonderful! 
Btw, he was a virgin and knew that I wasn’t and he was fine with that. He NEVER made me feel less than for having had past experiences. I love him so much!

Dude personally I think it’s amazing to wait until marriage. I think it’s great to build a connection with that special person. I just hope you guys have physical chemistry when you finally do the deed. I don’t think you should have to clap back at people though, it’s a personal choice and your sex life should be none of their business.

One of the main reasons I was able to trust my husband enough to marry him was because of how hard he fought to wait. He had opportunities with girls wanting to sleep with him in the past, but he would never even flirt with the possibility. I know he has what it takes to resist temptations and protect our relationship at all costs.

Not much tbh I personally wouldn’t date someone that wanted to wait till marriage & I didn’t wait till marriage obviously but I’m happy with my decision & I know it’s something I don’t regret but to each their own

It's worth it to only be with one person and experience everything with only them. Then you won't have any other experiences to compare it to and it will be something special reserved for just that person. Also I know people might disagree, but I believe there are studies out there that say that having less partners leads to greater happiness in marriage.
