Can you get pregnant on the last day of your cycle?

Ok so my cycle is like 24 to 27 days. And they last anywhere from 3 to 7 days long. So their not very reliable. So today I thought my cycle ended(today was day 3) I seen a little spotting here and there so my husband and I were cuddling bc I was depressed and ended up having sex. And we had a slip up🤭 I’ve looked it up on the internet and it’s confusing. Also I’m type 2 diabetic and I take metformin which I read women with PCOS takes to get pregnant 🤰 🤭it basically increases fertility so I’m now kinda freakin out bc we already have 5 beautiful children.

Now for those who wanna say well maybe you should’ve been taking birth control First maybe you should’ve kept scrolling and B I can’t take birth control nor can I get an IUD🙄 and if you wanna come with tha we’ll get your tubes tied once again keep scrolling and mind ya business lol

Anywho back to my situation I’m scared bc A. I’m already fertile. B.my meds has the potential to make me more fertile and C. Bc we wasn’t going to have another one so soon. We wanted the last baby to be about 4yrs from now.

Also and this is just a funny part to my situation I’ve been dreaming about someone being pregnant and babies ALOT like all the time! And I thought maybe it was one of my friends or sisters or something but maybe god had other plans for me lol

So can someone please help me bc I’ve asked a few people and I got mixed answers!
