My birth story ❤️ FTM and C Section

I finally had my baby girl after a long and rough pregnancy. She was born October 13th at 36 weeks exactly. Between my 32nd and 36th week I had went to the hospital several times for preterm labor yet I never dilated so they were confident I would carry full term. Wrong! My water broke at 36 weeks IN DOLLAR GENERAL!! I didn’t even anticipate my water breaking because I was supposed to be induced. We had nothing ready! Plus I had an hour and twenty minute drive to the hospital. So while getting over my embarrassment and anxiety we finally got into the hospital and my water was fully broke! No waiting, I was gonna have her that day! Well... she was still breach. They did an ultrasound and confirmed so I got prepped for an emergency C Section. Within a little over 2 hours I was on the table and she was born. I went into the hospital at about 5 she was born at 7:31 pm. She weighed 7 lbs 2 oz which was amazing for being premature. She had to go to NICU for a bit because her blood sugar was low and was struggling to get the fluid out of her lungs but after that she was a healthy little bug! They took me to NICU to see her after sewing me up and I got to take her to my room with me. After a rough high risk pregnancy, constantly going into labor, and then my water breaking in public, it was nice to have her in my arms! ❤️
