Can you really tell by doing this?

Has anyone caught a misscarriage past 6 weeks by doing this? I caught my first misscarriage myself at 5w 3 days by continuing to test. I get nervous and need assurance now so I test whenever I feel the need to. Having a heard time waiting for first appt at 9 weeks to see heartbeat. Do you think the tests would show a change at this point if something did happen?

I’m not sure if it would tell anything, but I continue to take tests every week too. I had a MMC in May. Didn’t find out the baby passed until my 12 week appointment when they couldn’t find the heartbeat. I say if it gives you reassurance, there’s no harm in doing it. Pregnancy after miscarriage is scary and I think we need to do whatever comforts us.

I tested alot with both successful pregnancies. But its really not a good idea to test until 9 weeks. Your hcg will sometimes "level out" around 8 weeks and your tests who become not as dark or you might even get a negative which is weird but it does happen and that will cause you stress. You're pregnant. Its time to soak it up and enjoy it. Ive had 3 losses and I know how difficult it is right now but I really recommend stopping after 6 weeks. We cant control anything that happens and that's the hardest part but really try your best to enjoy every day. Testing every day isn't indicative of anything except you are pregnant and id just hate for you to get a lighter test and and stress about it.
