Soon-to-be military girlfriend (soon to be WIFE?!), advice?

Hey guys!

So about 2 weeks ago my boyfriend decided he wanted to go into the army full time. He Also mentioned that before he goes into the military, he wants to get married. We've been together 2 and a half years, and knew each other a few years before that, so naturally we've talked about marriage a few times, but I always assumed when we got married he'd... Be here? I don't know. I totally support him as I know he's wanted to serve for a long time, but its just a lot to take in. He met with a recruiter this week to talk about his options, which somehow led to the decision that he'll be leaving for basic in a month! I'm still proud, but a little shocked as we had talked about him leaving in the summer and jumping it up to a month from now just freaked me out. Especially if that means we'll be getting married within the next month!! I know I want to marry him, and as i said im totally proud of him, but I need to know how hard this is really going to be and if any of you had advice on how to deal with it all. He is my absolute best friend, and we have always done everything together so I'm really nervous im not going to handle it well. I would go to him, but I know if he knew i was having any doubts hed postpone or even back out of going, and I know how much this means to him so I don't want that to be the case. Any advice or information on what its like would be so much appreciated! Thank you
