PLS READ.. mum only bothers with me around my boyfriend

I’m 18 and basically throughout my life my mum hasn’t really bothered with me unless I have money which she can take. I got a boyfriend a couple months back and he comes to mine most weekends but my mum only ever bothers with me when he’s there. She’ll come and sit in the room with us and tell all the stories about herself to make herself look amazing while telling stories about me which make me look stupid, she’s always making sure my boyfriend is fine but never ever checks up on me, it’s really starting to annoy me cause it just makes me feel like she’s trying to prove to my boyfriend that she’s this amazing mum when she’s far from it. It’s really starting to hurt me as I feel like she cares more about my boyfriend than she does me. She never does anything with me, during the week she’ll just sit in her bed all day or she’ll just disappear and won’t come back to later but as soon as my boyfriend comes she’s constantly talking to him. It didn’t annoy me the first few times because obviously she was getting to know him but now I think she’s taking it a bit far. Am I over reacting?? Please can someone acc reply to me ☹️
