Can you get a redhead baby if parents are not?

Just wondering if any of you have a redhead baby even though you or the father are not?

It’s a recessive gene so as long as the parents carry it, then yes. The parents don’t have to have red hair themselves.

Neither of my dad’s parents had red hair but they had 5 red headed kids! My grandma eventually dyed her hair because she got tired of people asking where the red hair came from 😂

Our baby has red hair and neither daddy or me do. I am a brunette and his daddy has black hair and is 1/2 Nigerian. It’s crazy. Hard to believe this little guy is 25% Nigerian!

Yea,it happend with my sister we have the same mom and diffremt dad's our mom has brown hair blue eyes and and her dad had drown hair brown eyes but shes grts her red hair from her dad's mom

Yep! If anyone in your family has red hair (even if it was like a great great grandparent) its possible. I do actually have a natural copper streak/birthmark in my natural brown hair.
