Xanax during earl pregnancy?

Has anyone taken Xanax during early pregnancy. I’m 6 weeks pregnant and I have such bad anxiety and I get prescribed Xanax I haven’t taken any since I found out but do you think just 1 would be ok? Please be completely honest and if you have, no judging. It’s just a question I haven’t taken any yet. Thank you!

Xanax can cause birth defects so they will give you something else. My anxiety is terrible also

What’s the dose? If it’s .25 or .5 then ONE probably won’t be tragic, but you can’t take Xanax during pregnancy so you’ll have to rely on something safer.

They will most likely prescribe something else. I had bad anxiety during my pregnancy & I remember my Ob mentioning a medication I could take & would be safe but it wasn’t xanax

I would defiently talk first to your obgyn they may have another source for your medication
