I see so many of you confused about what to do in college of confused about your major. I know so many majors sound fun and interesting but first actually look at the job prospect, pay, and the outlook for that job down the line of those majors. Please stop thinking you’ll be able to make a living with a psychology or liberal arts major UNLESS you plan on going to grad school or getting another form of education. I’m not saying don’t follow your dreams, but have a backup plan! I know the hard majors, like accounting, engineering, nursing etc don’t always sound fun but maybe consider either taking something that will give you a better life and not just leave you with debt. Maybe do a double major!! I know this is going to offend some but as someone who works with so many recent college grads who really have a hard time in this economy, I’m genuinely trying to help.
