Introducing solids?

Question

Has anyone fed there baby cereal/jar food yet? My doctor told us that we can start feeding my baby food since I had concerns about his size/weight, so i was wondering if anyone else started baby foods before 6 months.

I am about to just because of how much she eats and to help with gas. Seems like any time I ask about it on here everyone becomes and Dr and says how horrible solids are this early lol. I say go slow and give it a shot - if it works, great! I know lots of people who started them early

Starting early shows kids get less food allergies then starting later so do what u feel is right as a parent

I have started slowly with our LG. Not a whole jar, probably a little less than half and just once a day or every other day. She's had bananas and potatoes, which she loves both! And she will open her mouth and try to go after the spoon when she sees it lol. She is 17 weeks. 
We actually introduced her at 15 weeks. Just a taste here and there from our fingers. My 13 and 11 year old both started solids at 4 months and they have no food allergies or digestive problems, so I stuck to the same routine this go around.

My first one we just did solids here and there at 4 months and didn’t really take it seriously until 6 months where we would sit him down for meals
