Working retail is so weird

Today a lady in her 40s or 50s came through my line with her son who looked about 20. As she was paying she said “you’re an angel, are you single?” I told her I have a girlfriend and she looked at her son and said “oh sorry” and it took me a minute to realize that she was hitting on me for her son. Wtf lmao
