What is it

So I have really irregular periods and this month it came about 4 days earlier than average and instead of regular period blood it is suuuuuper light brown discharge mixed with white discharge every other day. It’s so light and infrequent I’m not even sure if it’s my period or not. Like definitely brown which is weird for discharge but also definitely way lighter than period. What is going on
