Should I mention my pregnancy in a job interview?

I have an interview this week with a company I’ve been trying to join for awhile. I’ve had some people tell me that I should wait till I have the job to tell them I’m pregnant, but I feel like that’s starting off on a bad note with the ppl that work there since I would be hiding it from them

I wouldn’t. They can choose to not hire you because of it and you’d never know. Plus it’s not their business yet.

If you tell them you won’t get it so issue about starting on the right foot, you wouldn’t be starting at all.
If you want to protect yourself from sex discrimination then tell them after. That way if you don’t get it you will know it wasn’t just because you were pregnant.

Definitely don’t mention anything. And they are legally not allowed to ask. Once you get the job, and sign all paperwork, then you can.  Theyre not allowed to discriminate, but that only starts once you have the job.

How far along are you? What type of position are you applying for? If you're talking some entry  level position, wait but know they may not be happy with you when you tell them. If it's a higher up job I'd recommend disclosing in the interview. 1st, 2nd, or 3rd interview will be based on your feel of who you're talking to.

I’m currently 5 months pregnant and work in the medical field . I did let the hiring manager know and still got offered the job the next day. It’s ultimately your decision. Best of luck to you !

I waiting til I was hired then I told the managers and they were understanding I am on light duty with no heavy lifting once I actually started working I told my manager I just found out even though I was almost three months and been knew
