What are all you moms in cold weather doing for footwear? My LO is still in sneakers and I think I need new shoes for her. She’s been walking for about 3 months and is pretty confident but I still am concerned about getting something with an overly stiff sole. I looked on stride rite and the boots were either super intense snow boots or a “boot” that I feel is barely warmer than her sneakers. I don’t think I want her in snow boots for going to the library or museums when it hasn’t actually snowed. And we live suburban life so her outdoor walking is limited to going from the car inside. They seem to clunky for that. But I’d like books that provide some warmth.

Ideally, spending under $70.

Suggestions? I’m also open for specific boots you’ve bought (boys too! I prefer to get her something black, tan, navy for brown anyway)
