C section scar

I'm 3 months PP I know the scar is ok and no infection healed well.... Now my problem is the LITTLE bit of belly the hangs over the scar the skin around it is getting irritated and red sometimes. Am I the only one any suggestions, currently just have some vasaline for some moisturizing.
