Is it ever ok to pressure family to quit smoking cigarettes?
They have tried to quit before, in fact both had expressed the goal to quit before my child was born over a year ago.
My thought was to do a cute card from her like, all I want for Christmas is my grandparents to live as long as possible and quit smoking.

My husband's parents also smoke but haven't said they want to quit. They smoke in their home and we move to another room but everything smells of smoke every time we go there.
So does your answer change for them? I think it's more likely to work for my parents but would it be too rude to give the cards to both?
All 4 are in their 60s because we waited to have a child until our mid 30s. I just don't want her to lose her grandparents young, but ultimately I know its up to them.
Is it ever okay to try and pressure someone to change a damaging behavior? Is it too manipulative or can it be done with respect?
