Together for 13 years married for 2 years. I didnt mind that it took the time for him to come up and propose to me but through the relationship he is already doing what a husband should do may it be financially emotionally etc.. all we are missing was paper work. But it didnt matter bec when the right time came it was all worth it. 🤗🤗🤗

I feel like this is an odd question. Why are you “trying” to get engaged ? It seems like a short sighted way of looking at things and treating a ring as an achievement. I think these attitudes towards marriage predict a likely divorce.

Been with my partner for 15 years. We have a 17 month old and a 2 month old. We’ll get married eventually, maybe. I’d rather buy a house honestly. I really don’t need a ring. I’m not a big jewelry person- it’ll either get broken or lost so its really just not worth it to me. Rings and weddings are just too damn expensive and we’re already in a bunch of debt.
