Mother in law won’t stay out of our business

She has to know every detail. She calls and the first thing she asked is if we had jobs. Asked how much were making. Than proceeds to tell us that it’s not her problem she’s not paying our rent.....SHES NEVER PAID OUR RENT.

Don’t know how to get her to shut the hell up. If we try to avoid the topic or tell her no she talks shit on us to all her other kids

Guys there was been many other things that have happened. I’ve decided not to put it all out there for time and privacy sakes. I’m here for advice not for people to one up me. If you need more details ask. Just wasn’t sure how to go about setting clear boundaries with her , and getting her to listen!
