Okay so basically.. to sum it all up, we have a 5, almost 6 month old pit bull. And a 11 week old German Shepherd together in one yard, they come into the house quite often as well.

Before the German Shepherd and the pit bull were put together, our German pup barked at things like crazy! My mom lovesssss that she barks. We live in a bad area, and we would prefer our dogs to bark to alert us.

Our husky on the other side of the yard, doesn’t bark, which I already figured he wouldn’t prior to getting him. The pit bull has been with him but together, they fight a lot and the pit is way smaller than our husky. Plus she’s a female.

For the past few days, our German Shepherd has slowly stopped barking..

Is it possible the pitbull being quiet and not a barker is rubbing off on our German Shepherd?

Our pit doesn’t bark unless she’s playing. She won’t bark at people, or anything else. So we feel that her quietness is rubbing off on our German Shepherd.. and my mom and husband aren’t liking it.. what can we do?
