How i found out im pregnant after a little over a year of TTC

My last period was August 13th and it ended the 17th i was so happy cause my birthday was on the 18th the week after my birthday i has requested off to go on a trip that was cancelled due to the hurricane so i ended up going and spending the week at my boyfriends house and lots of love making happended lol fast forward a week later i notice my breast were still tender and sore from when i was on my period and i was peeing like ever other hour Nd i usually only pee 2 or 3 times a day so i started thinking but it was very faint because me and him had been trying since late may 2018 and after a while we basically gave up and said if it happens it happens also i beleived i couldnt get pregnant because when i was 15 me and him got pregnant and my mom found out and pressured me into thinking she was the one who decided wheather or not i keep the baby and made me gwt an abortion so for the past 3or 4 years i held that against her so ever since me and my boyfriend started trying again i wasnt getting pregnant at alll and after a while i figured that the horrifiying procedure messed up my chances of ever having kids so the week after i got back home my mom kept saying ghat i was pregnant and needed to go take a test and i was like no my period isnf late i just got off it like 2 weeks ago its not due till like 2 more weeks so everyday after that she would ask if i took a test and i would tell her no cause i didnt think it was gonna happen then about a week later i was walking into my boyfriends house and a lizard jumped down from above the door way on to my purse i almost had a heart attack cause i hate lizards i flung it off my purse and it fell on the ground and it tried to run towards me i was like NOPE and it ran away. After that i still didmt think anything of it now im Jamaican so when growing up i was always told if a lizard jumps on you it means your pregnant at the time that folk tale was wayyyyy in the back of my mind and not thought of when i reached back home i told my mom abour it cause she knows how much i hate lizards and she was like i told you you need to take a test your pregnant after that every thing started making sense but i was in denial cause i wasnt late so she would ask everyday if i took a test but i didnt then she was like she wanted to know before she left because she was moving so the dy she was suppose to leave i was like you kniw what bump it ill take the test my period wasnt due for another 5-6 days i took the test an watched only one line appear and was like i knew it so i then turned my head to grab toilet paper to wrap it up to throw away and when i looked back at the test there was another line that. Wasnt there 30 seconds prior i was in disbelief i was like omg its happening?? And it sure was i left the test onthe bathroom sinkand told my little brother to get my mom and tell her to go in the bathroom then i went in my room and a moment later she walked into the bathroom and walked out and said that means you are i told you then it was time to tell my dad so i go to him and say im pregnant and he was like o yeah i was going to tell you that this morning 😒im like really so everybody in this house is pregnancy detecters 😂😂😂 i was so excited i called my boyfriend and let him know the news and he said he knew it as well af this point the hormons had me over everyone and their knowing before me i found out September 11th and my first drs appointment was September the 18th which is my boyfriends birthday ☺️ and we got to see our miracle birthday baby😂 everything felt surreal because my due date is May 19th 2020 and thats the date I conceived my first pregnancy i feel like this baby is a gift from above and i am so grateful 😊 i am now 13 weeks and 3 days and waiting to find out what im having hoping for a girl😩
