I am 6 weeks PP and unfortunately had a medical complication during delivery that was discovered yesterday and requires surgery. I am out of sick time and was planning to go back in December. I will obviously not be able to return to work until then/after surgery and would hate to be unpaid during this time.

I know I can’t use family medical leave in conjunction with disability. Does anyone have experience with this?

Would love to hear any stories and how it worked for you.
