Ovulating from both ovaries?

Question

Anyone have experience with ovulating from both ovaries in the same cycle? Had a follicle check but dr confirmed that both ovaries ovulated. This was my first dose of 100mg clomid. I go back on Tuesday for blood draw to check progesterone level. This has never happened to me before so I’m curious.

Yep. Happened to me and I ended up having twins. Of course that won’t be the result for everyone - just because you ovulate doesn’t mean you’ll get pregnant. But I wish you luck!

I’ve ovulated from both ovaries on Clomid about 19mm each, unfortunately didn’t get pregnant... this round I did letrozole and have 3 huge ones on left side .. good luck to you! 🤗🤞🏽

It's pretty common on Stimulation Medication to ovulate from each ovary. The highest I've ever gotten was 2 follicles, each from the same ovary. However, I've seen women on here with 4-6 coming from both.

Yes! I went in for a follicle scan and Dr said I had ovulated from both ovaries. I have to get a progesterone blood test next week. I took 7.5mg of Letrozole this cycle
