Late period

So I had my last period October 3rd. My cycles haven’t been exactly “normal”. They vary between 30-35 days. Well I’m currently on cycle day 42 and still no period. I’ve had really vivid dreams. Also had a wet dream for the first time the other night. I’m bloated and my breast and nipples are extremely tender. I can also eat everything in sight. But I tested a few days ago and got a negative. Usually when I’m late on my period, i have sex and that brings it on that same day or the next. Well we did the deed this morning and I noticed I was spotting pink after. It only lasted for a little and it wasn’t much. And my flo never continued. No cramps or anything. Just kind of confused and trying to stay hopeful. We’ve been trying for 3 years now. I’m not sure if I ovulated later than I thought in my cycle or my period is just really late. I’m not sure when to test again or what to think..
