No More Birth Control

Hello , I had my annual doctors appointment today and I told my doctor that I wanted to work on family planning, my doctor was excited and I asked that if she wanted to put me on any meds since about 2 years ago I was diagnosed with PCOS, she stated that they recommended you try with out help for at least a year , and it will take about 6 months for my birth control to officially get out of my system. I went along with it didn’t have any initial questions but I wanted to know should I have told her that I would be doing AI with at home insemination due to me being in a lesbian relationship? Do you guys think I should go back and request to be put on meds ? Any and all advice is great ladies. THANKS
