Sex before period = pregnancy?

This may be a dumb question, but figured I'd ask here. If you have sex all 3 days before your period unprotected can you get pregnant? If so, would you still have your period or not bc it would be so early?

You can get pregnant during anytime of your cycle! I got pregnant a week before i got my period! My OB was like "uh your baby is measuring 8 days older than what we were basing off of your period".

It honestly just depends on when you ovulate. But there is always a chance of pregnancy when you have unprotected sex

Yes. You can always get pregnant when you have unprotected sex. You would still have your period because the egg would still need to implant and your hormones take some time to change.

If you were ovulating that late, you wouldn’t get your period until 2 weeks after that anyway because you have to have a luteal phase which is generally 14 days from ovulation to next period. 
It’s not likely that you ovulate that late in your cycle but it’s always possible. Again though, if you ovulate that late in your cycle, #1, pregnancy doesn’t happen that quick- it takes anywhere from 6-12 days from ovulation for an egg to implant into the uterus. So you still wouldn’t get a period until about 2 weeks after ovulation.
