My 4 year old has never had a haircut. She’s tall & has amazing long hair that’s just past her bum. We take great care of her hair but it gets knotty obviously. For the first time she mentioned wanting to get a haircut. Nothing crazy just a bit shorter she says lol. How do you guys go about decisions like these? I know hair is just hair, that’s not what I care about. I’m just unsure in general about how to go about things toddlers want to do at this age lol, as far as teaching them to be independent vs having them wait til they’re a bit older to make decisions? she’s my oldest so looking for some insight 💖
