Has anyone’s child been diagnosed with EIF?

Just looking to hear what people did about it and how everything turned out after baby was born.

My son had an echogenetic focus on his heart. The cardiologist told me he sees lots of them and usually isn’t a cause for concern. He said it’s like a birthmark of the heart, sometimes it goes away, sometimes it doesn’t. They also checked for a murmur once my son was born because in his fathers family it is genetic but he was cleared. An ultrasound technician told me that back in the day they used EIF as an indication of a genetic disorder but that was like 30 years ago and they have such better technology these days. I was so worried about the EIF but he’s happy and healthy!
