Is 137 a normal resting heart rate during pregnancy?

Im trying to decide if I should call up to L&D, Im having some horrible shortness of breath and my stomach is super hard so I checked my pulse on a digital reader.

I misclicked also. 🤦🏻‍♀️ it depends on how long it stayed that high. I had mine occasionaly hit 190 and i paniced and talkt to my obgyn. After he understood it was very rare for me to see that he told me it would be ok. He explained that sometimes baby is using the cord like a straw and is feeding supplements from you and growing. In those moments mamas body is working hard to provide for both mama and baby. And thats very normal for once in a while. 🙂 if it were to stay that high then i would defnitely ask for a dr visit.

I see a cardiologist due to a high heart rate and he stated that if it goes about 130 during pregnancy and remains there or happens often then I would have to start medication. Anything below is ok because pregnancy increases your heart rate and cardiac output by around 40%. So based on that I would definitely seek further medical advise if I was in your situation.

I went in for preterm labor and my heart rate was 136. They were concerned about it and gave me fluids to see if it helped the heart rate and the contractions. I would call if I were you.

My doctor checked mine today because my Fitbit had been reading mine as between 100-120. He was definitely concerned. When he checked it was 96 and he said that was okay plus I hadn’t been having any palpitations. I would call your doctor.

Mine is 115-120 resting and they’ve never been concerned. 🤷🏼‍♀️ I’m seen every 2 weeks by docs and no one has said anything yet. However, if you’re in pain or you feel like something isn’t right, I would def call your doc and see what they say.

How far along are you? I had similar in my third trimester and the nurse I spoke to on the phone totally brushed it off. Maybe you should call your ob and ask a nurse what they think.
