Has anyone who’s ever cheated or been cheated on been able to mend their marriage/relationship afterwards ?

honestly i’ve never thought it was worth staying. the other person completely broke all means of trust and probably messed the other person up mentally. you should know your worth. but that’s just me

Been cheated on and no I didnt find it in me to stay. I was pregnant and he cheated, and if he wasn’t able to keep it in his pants or respect me while I was carrying his child of all things then he wasnt worth it. It completely broke me, and as much as we had been through together I was just disgusted every time I looked at him. I couldnt eat, sleep, or do anything without thinking about it and it made me hate myself. It made me feel as if I wasn’t enough for him, or like I did something wrong. I realized i didnt want to feel that way ever again so I left.

I cheated on a guy in the very early stages of our relationship. I was just dating two guys at once. Neither was serious. Not my finest moment but I had ended a 5 year tumultuous relationship and I was reeling. Eventually, I cut them both off. I did get back with the one guy after a month or so. I told him about it all and he was pretty hurt. He wanted to continue to be together though. I could see he didn't have a lot of trust in me for a while. Now a few years later we are married. As far as I can see, he has full trust in me. We're really happy together.

My ex cheated and I tried to forgive him. We stayed together for 8 more months and tried to work it out. We worked on building the trust back. 
Then, I saw a weird email one time when he left it open on my computer. Turns out he cheated 5 more times. I wasted 8 months of my life getting over an unbearable pain while he was still out hurting me. 
I truly believe once a cheater, always a cheater. I will never stay with someone who cheats again. 👌🏻

I’ve never been in either situation but I do know a few people who have.. One relationship worked out they stayed together and now they’ve been together 25 years. The wife cheated and the husband found out and she apologized and they worked things out. She never cheated again. The other relationship, the girlfriend cheated he found out she apologized and he stayed with her... she still cheats on him and treats him like crap! He stays with her because they have a child together. 
Moral of the story. If you choose to forgive someone for cheating and they continue to cheat LEAVE it will ruin you. 
If you cheat you should be 100% honest with your partner ASAP 
If my husband were to ever cheat on me.. I’m not sure what I’d do.. it’s a situation you can only decide for yourself, honestly. If you take him back it’s because you truly want to don’t let him guilt trip you. Good luck!
