As soon as the findings came out about ranitidine and carcinogens we stopped giving it to our LO. She still has her moments of reflux though and I know she is uncomfortable. It’s also difficult for her to want to lay flat when she has a flare up.

Since she was born I’ve held her upright after a feed (EBF) but even hours after a feed she’ll have reflux, so I’m not sure how else to prevent it or ease the pain. She gets so uncomfortable. This also affects her sleep when I lay her down in her bed at night (or even for naps).

1. Anyone recommend other safe remedies? 2. Or is there a way for her to sleep more inclined (safely) so she isn’t flat on her back? 3. Will this get better as she eats more solids?
