he's 4 and a half month, can't believe how well he can eat! we are both loving it!

I will be when he reaches the recommended 6 months. Honestly, I’m in no rush and would hate to cause problems down the line for the sake of a couple extra months 🤷🏻‍♀️

My daughter just had her 4 month check up yesterday and doctor told us we can start on fruits:) she ate half a container of bananas and loved it! At her 2 month appt we were told we can start with rice cereal so I began just putting a little in her bottles then at 3 months I started spoon feeding and now we’re on to fruits. She’s doing great as well! Our babies will tell us if they want the food or don’t want it..if it agrees with them or doesn’t agree with them! Keep doing your thing 🤩

My pediatrician said to start at 6 months so we have about 2.5 months left

I’m planning to wait to as close to six months as possible but I can start to see signs that it’s coming. She is all of a sudden really interested when I’m eating and drinking. She holds her head and can take things to her mouth. She still has a slight tongue trust reflex at times. I’m definitely going to wait till 5 months but can’t see her waiting the full 6mth. The nhs recommendation is around 6 mths. As some will be a week or so earlier some a week or so later. Plus she’ll be around 5 and a half months Christmas Day so I’ll let her suck on a sprout haha.

Yes! 4 months tomorrow and I’ve been experimenting with purées and spoon feeding. So far, he’s doing well. He seems super intrigued when he sees me eating and drinking also. 
I’m sure starting around 4 months won’t cause any issues like others are saying. 🙄 My mom started me on solids early and I have no food allergies.

We started on Friday, but it's more experimental right now! Baby girl is 19 weeks!

My little one still has tongue thrust and needs support to sit so she isn't ready yet.
