Sippy cup recommendations?

So my baby is 6 and a half months and we were told to start giving him water through a sippy. Now I've tried two different ones already with no good luck. One is a nuk with a beginner spout, the other is one the munchkin 360 cup which we tried first. I'm at a loss here cause I'm spending left and right on cups and I just want to find one that works for him. So what would you guys recommend for a first time user with sippys?

It takes many-many tries someone’s. 
Just use a small plastic cup or google pediatric nutritionists or dieticians. I follow the Lean Greenbean, Mama Knows Nutrition, Weelicious, Element Nutrition, and New Ways Nutrition on Instagram and they will show you the best baby products.

We skipped the ‘sippy’ and did a straw cup.

I started with munchkin 360 but I first used it without the lid (just as a regular cup) and just slowly tilted it up at his mouth so he would realize there was water in it. After he seemed to like that and would open his mouth for it I started using it with the lid on. Maybe try that before going out to get a new cup!

We started with munchkins spout sippy cup. My son pretty much just chewed on it and got the drink out and slowly figured it out. We tried Nuk’s and my son wasn’t a fan. We didn’t move to the 360 until 9 months.

Why don’t they work? You could always try a cup. We started using shot glass size glasses

Not many babies are ready for a sippy right at 6 months.  So if she won’t take it, wait a few weeks or a month and then try again.  My first took it at 6 months, I tried all different kinds with my second and she refused them until 14 months.
