Trying to relactate
I’m not sure if this will be possible but I told myself I would give it a few weeks or until it’s too stressful. I started a few days ago. I’ve been doing a lot of research and the key is pump around the clock and nurse. I have a Lansinoh smart pump. Never used any other. I’ve also read a lot of women take prescription meds, Domperidone or Reglan. The one apparently isn’t available in the US, and Reglan I’ve read has some scary side effects. I can still hand express some, at first it was yellowish and thicker like colostrum, the last couple days its more of a milky white consistency, like normal. And she will comfort nurse. I ebf for 4 months, it’s been a month since I’ve breastfed. I also always had a good supply, I never took any supplements.
Has anyone taken medications or have any experience with this? And aside from a LC, who should I speak to about wanting to do this, my OB, primary care or Pediatrician? Not sure if they’d be able to help though.
