Yes and it is extremely important not to try and make yourself seem heavier if you have an eating disorder. Too much anesthetic can kill you. If you are embarrassed because you are overweight or think you are overweight, don’t worry about it. They’ll probably have a patient that same day who will be the same height as you but who will weigh at least 100 pounds more than you do. These people are professionals and they will not judge. They just want to keep you alive and as healthy as possible. When I had conscious sedation for wisdom teeth removal, they had to weigh me.
